DraftKings EuroLeague basketball picks December 15th
We have a two week week of DraftKings EuroLeague tournaments. We start on Tuesday morning with most of Round 14. The first of five game tips at noon East, when Efes travels to Moscow to play against CSKA. 45 minutes later, Milan gives tips in Istanbul.
1 p.m. Eastern shows Red Star receiving Berlin and Baskonia heading to Kaunas, where they recently owned Zalgiris. The last game is at 2pm Eastern as Olympiacos host Real Madrid. That will be fun! Let’s see who’s going to miss out on all the fun.
Out: Jan Vesely (calf), Ben Lammers (ankle), Patricio Garino (knee), Simone Fontecchio (knee), Taylor Rochestie (released), Steve Vasturia (knee), Alex Perez (calf).
Questionable: Sergio Rodriguez (not known), Lorenzo Brown (groin), Marcus Eriksson (ankle), Luca Vildoza (back), Langston Hall (groin), Janis Strelnieks (hip), Ahmet Duverioglu (not known), Zach Auguste (not known).
Rodriguez should play in at least one of the rounds this week. He is on the itinerary to Turkey this week for games with Fenerbahce and Efes. Still, Sergio’s price seems high on a board with so many good options.
Brown injured his groin in a league game over the weekend. Even if he plays in either round 14 or 15, he will likely be constrained. I stay away
In the EuroLeague season, we often see around ten players playing half the game. The benefit to everyone is limited except for the few elites out there.
For DraftKings EuroLeague we cannot expect 5 times the value as in the NBA. Most winning lineups are 180-200 DraftKings points, which is 3.5 to 4 times that value. Keep this in mind when looking for value picks.
